Correspondence and soundscribers regarding: Lord Beaverbrook's possible purchase of letters written by General James Wolfe and Dr. Bailey's and George MacBeath's opinion as to their authenticity; the Douglas Gold Medal; graduate student George Cassar's application for use of the Lloyd George papers and Beaverbrook's refusal; Dr. Bailey's distress at Beaverbrook's possible resignation as Chancellor and acknowledgements for various books given to Dr. Bailey by Lord Beaverbrook. Also included in the file are requests for Beaverbrook to write a message and permission to use the Anna Zinkeisen portrait for the 1963 "Up the Hill" year book and an invitation to fill the post of Honorary Editor of the Brunswickan.
